“And you rightly should be! You two deserve your chance at happiness.” Mei cupped his cheeks and pulled Zack in to kiss his forehead.
⊛ “Thank you, mama.” He couldn’t help but giggle as she kissed his forehead. He was just so giddy. Everyone’s cheer and support made this so much harder for him not to lose his cool. He hugged Mei tightly, trying hard not to bounce while she was right there, but man did he have this urge to bounce or run or both.
He’s proud that his vixen are so happy and eager to take on these roles. His kitsune are indeed incredible foxes.
“Pack your bags tonight for about a week and a half. Tomorrow at ten in the morning, you’ll visit Gabriel’s home and they’ll take you to the first home where you’ll get to meet the first child or children. Spend the day getting to know them, play with them, enjoy some nice meals, then put them down for bed. In the morning, get them cleaned up, dressed, and after breakfast you’ll be moved to the next home. You two worry only about that for now. Gabriel’s agreed to sponsor you so they and I are doing the paperwork.”
“Alright! Sounds like a plan to me, thanks so much Yoshi!” She was overjoyed at the idea that they could do this, and even more excited when she saw the look on her beloved’s face. She looked close to tears, but happy ones. Kumiko was very glad, they had talked for ages, before the loss of their good friends, about having a child. Then Yui was in their care for a time and danger tore them apart. Now that they were safe, they had wanted to try again to have their own child and she was all too happy that they had such a god that would help them create the family they wanted.
“I see, thank you.” Junko was trying hard not to cry, she was so happy. It had been so long since they had Yui in their care, and even longer still that she had wanted a child. Now that they were safe, they may finally be able to have one, if not two.
Yoshiaki nodded. “Thankfully, all of the children will be adopted either by other angels or by Gabriel - apparently they have a long record of adopting orphaned angels. I believe Mei once said they’d adopted close to three thousand children? And of them, they have only one biological child. Ah, I’m getting off track. Sorry.
“The problem is that they won’t be adopted. The only problem - which we’ve managed to get around - is being approved for the chance to adopt. Gabriel insists that the adopting parents spend time with the children - at least two days. The children remain in a temporary house and the potential parents rotate between locations. In the end, the parent gets to chose, but the child gets to approve. Then there’s a trial period where the children live with the parents in the parents’ home and at least one guardian has to be named before it’s finalized. It’s quite a rigorous process, but it’s done with the best interests of the children in mind and I respect that.”
“I’m glad to hear they’ll all get a home.” She was quite glad to hear that, really. “I’m not really opposed to that. We do have to make sure that they’ll be happy with us, after all.” As much as she wanted a child, and Kumiko did too, she more than understood the child had to be happy in their care. Not just in their care because they picked them. That didn’t always work out for the best, after all.
“I don’t mind either. You make it seem like it’s so awful.” Kumiko teased. “What do we have to do to prepare?”
“You’re more than welcome to join me.” Yoshiaki patted the floor in front of him, not at all bothering to try getting up or sending his kits away from their play time. “This shouldn’t take long, after all.”
“Oh, alright.” The two vixen walked over and sat beside Yoshiaki and his kits. Smiling at them as they kept playing with their father.
“Junko agreed that any child was fine!” Kumiko chirped.
“I did, but I can speak for myself, dear.” Junko was anxious to talk to Yoshiaki herself, after all. “I’d be willing to take on two children if they were siblings but I think it’d be best to meet with the kids before we make any choices. I also don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up and hurt them by rushing into this.”

Smol trying to be lowkey protective of Tol when cuddling by being the big spoon but it’s HARD BECAUSE YOU CAN’T EXACT JUST TUCK YOUR GIANT IN YOUR ARMS WHEN YOU’RE TINY
Tol getting pissy and putting all the important dishes on the top shelf
Smol not taking that hissy fit and hiding all the best snacks at the back of the lowest shelves
Clothes swapping but Tol can only take blankets (meanwhile Smol can wear all of Tol’s T-shirts like mini-dresses and look pretty rad)
Smol straight up sitting in Tol’s lap but it doesn’t hinder Tol’s eyesight at all so they do it all the time
Tol casually leaning their head on top of Smol’s head because they’re at that perfect height to do so and getting grumpy when the Smol wears heels because they have a harder time doing it
When they’re making out the Smol has to sit on the Tol because otherwise the Tol doesn’t know what to do with all their limbs
Tol forgetting that not all people see at their eye level and point out cool things that the Smol can’t see
Tol taking pictures of said cool things then bringing the phone down to the Smol so they can see it

Hard time weaving fingers together when holding hands because the hand size is so different so they casually hold pinkies

Excellent timing considering Yoshiaki was currently buried beneath and pinned down by both of his own kits. Hanako in her fox form nibbling on one of his ears and Kane sprawled out over his back like he was a comfy recliner. His ears stood at attention when they announced themselves, well one stood at attention the other remained between Hanako’s teeth.
“Ah! You’re back! That was very quick.” He doesn’t look at all bothered by his kits. (Yoshiaki has become quite used to the antics of young foxes, especially his own children’s.)
“Yes, we are. Kumiko told me the news. I’m really happy to hear that there are some who want to meet us.” She was trying hard to keep herself calm, as Kumiko had enough energy on her own that she didn’t need to feet off her mate.
“I would love to talk about it if you’re not too busy.” Though she could see his kits were enjoying their father’s company. “I’d hate to bother you.”
Fuck I’m at a fencing tournament and literally a minute after I reblogged this my dad told me that he talked to the point people and I’m probably going to win a medal.

FUCK, I though it was just another lucky meme but LISTEN. Since a week ago I was waiting a phone call to confirm me if I got a job or not in my university. I reblogged this yesterday’s night “just for fun and because I don’t want any bagel to be mad with me”, and today’s afternoon, while I was losing my time as always, the professor I was supposed to work with called me and asked me for my personal information to start working with her.
